CSS Zen Garden

For those who are interested in seeing the limits of current web presentation technology (Flash, etc exlcuded), grab your favorite CSS2 compliant browser (Mozilla Fire***, Safari, Netscape 7, and if you have to, IE6) and head on over to the CSS Zen Garden. Be sure to try out several designs by clicking on the “select a design” menu on the right. Some of them are simply stunning. The amazing thing is that the HTML is the same for each design — the only thing that changes is the style sheet (and, of course, the accompanying images referenced).

Recently a younger colleague said something disparaging the use of tables. Man, that makes me feel old. Guess I have something new to learn.
